We Want to Help!

For some families meal time is the only time they are able to spend together. Meals during the Holidays are especially important. The Kindred Area Ministerial Association (KAMA) and the Kindred Area Food Pantry deliver the ingredients for the holiday meal during Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter to families in Christine, Davenport, Hickson, Kindred, Leonard, Walcott and the surrounding area.

Here are some ways you can help:

Donate non-perishable food items - we ask for specific items at each holiday, please be on the look out for what items we are looking for.

Contribute money - cash or checks can be dropped off or mailed to the church at PO Box 115. Be sure to add “Food Baskets” in the memo line.

Pack and Deliver Baskets - on the last school day before a holiday, we get together in the KLC basement to prepare, pack, and distribute the baskets. Please contact Pastor Kyle if you would like to help with this.

We Could Use a Food Basket

If you are in need of a holiday food basket or would like to suggest a family to receive one, please contact the church office at 428-3630 to determine availability and get proper information.

The Food Baskets are a partnership of the Kindred Area Food Pantry and Kindred Area Ministerial Association (KAMA) which includes Bethel & Goshen Moravian Churches; Calvary & Zion United Methodist Churches; Canaan Moravian Church; Christine, Hickson & Walcott Lutheran Churches; Davenport & Norman Lutheran Churches; Kindred Lutheran Church; St Maurice Catholic Church; and West Prairie Free Lutheran Church.
