Join Us for the Prayer Walk/Run/Ride
Each September, KLC has our annual Prayer Walk/Run/Ride and Chili Feed. God calls out faithful prayer warriors who walk the streets of Kindred or who pray at the church!
As we walk, run and ride, we pray for commuters, truck drivers, bus drivers, and train engineers… we pray for the farmers, the workers in the fields and for a bountiful harvest… we pray for the new residents in our community and for people of all faiths… we pray for reconciliation, forgiveness and peace… we pray for our families, students, teachers, and staff at our schools.
Put on your walking shoes and join us this year! Invite your friends, including people who don’t attend church or who attend a different church. When we return we will have a Chili Feed. Hope you can join us!
“Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:18
The three ARROWS remind us that we are “sent” by Jesus into our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, and everyday lives to represent Him for the sake of the world.
Jesus tells us, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
We encourage one another to reach out to others by investing in their lives and inviting them to Christ and his church.
