Kindred Area Food Pantry

Kindred Lutheran Church houses the Kindred Area Food Pantry.  Churches and volunteer organizations throughout the area contribute food and money toward the pantry.  Certificates for food from the local grocery store may be available to purchase food as well.

How You Can Help

Donate non-perishable food items

Current items needed include:

Breakfast Items
cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix, muffin mix, syrup, and juice..

Snack Items
granola bars, fruit cups, individual servings of mac & cheese, soup, ramen noodles, pretzels, fruit snack, etc.

Lunch/Dinner Items
Rice packets, pasta, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, chili beans, pork & beans,  hamburger & tuna helper, cans of chicken or tuna, etc.

Condiments
Ketchup, mustard, salad dressings, mayo, olive oil, PAM spray, and spices.

New or gently used items
Pots & pans, baking dishes, can openers, measuring cups, kitchen utensils, hand towels, bath towels and laundry detergent.

Contribute money- cash or checks make payable to Kindred Area Food Pantry can be dropped off or mailed to the church at PO Box 115

Anyone in the area who is in need of food or household supplies is welcome to contact the church at 428-3630.  You can also stop by during regular office hours 9-4 Monday through Thursday.
