Whether this is your first time or you've been attending for years, we are glad you are here! We welcome you no matter who you are, what you've done, or where you've been! We know that wherever you find yourself in your faith journey Jesus meets you.
Together we make up the church. Church isn't a building, it is the people. At KLC we believe that we are gathered to grow and sent to serve.
We gather in worship to prepare ourselves and each other to serve and worship God throughout our community and the world. We hope that you will join us soon!
The heart of worship is God and what God does—not us, our faith, or our experiences. God freely gives us the gifts of presence, forgiveness and salvation.

We have lots of children in worship. We enjoy all the sounds, excitement, and joy they bring to worship. Jesus fully welcomed the little children and embraced them. So do we!
Some people dress up, and others dress very casually. We encourage you to come the way you feel most comfortable.
You are welcome to come any time. If you want to get the most out of your worship time, you'll want to arrive 10-15 minutes before service so you have plenty of time to park, hang up any coats, talk with someone you may know, and get settled in before the service begins.
Children, and all their movements and sounds, are always welcome in worship! We have a seperate learning time for children up to grade 6 that starts at 9am.
If you would like more information about this time, please check out the Kindred Kids page!
We have two different styles of worship. Most weeks, we follow the traditional style and settings from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship hymnal. On the second Sunday of each month we have a contemporary worship service, consisting of music you might hear on Christian radio stations.
God speaks to us through the written Word of Scripture, the proclaimed Word in the sermon and hymns, and the visible Words of communion and baptism.
We typically celebrate Holy Communion on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month.
Our Lord Jesus invites all to join him in fellowship at his table and to receive his real presence in the bread and wine as a gift given for you for the forgiveness of your sins. Nobody is ever turned away from the communion table.
If you do not wish to receive communion, you may come forward to receive a blessing. Remember what he has done for you. Trust and believe. Come. Be the guest of our Savior!
Typically a service is about 60 minutes. It may surprise you how quickly it flies by.
We would love to know that you visited us. Before you leave, we encourage you to text our visitor number you will find when you are here or talk to Pastor Kyle.
If you have any questions, Pastor Kyle would be happy to answer them for you!
