When is worship? Are there any requirements to attend worship?

On Sundays from September through May, we hold worship at 10:00 am. On Sundays in June, July, & August, we hold worship at 7:00 pm.

During Lent (Ash Wednesday through Easter) we also hold worship on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm with special services on the Thursday and Friday before Easter at 7:00pm.

Please watch out for special worship times for Easter and Christmas Eve. We typically post these to our Facebook page and website well in advance of these services.

There is nothing special you need to do to attend worship. We welcome you to come as you are, because that is how Jesus welcomes all of us.

Who is welcome to take communion? How is communion distributed?

All who believe in God’s presence within the elements at the communion table are welcome to partake in communion. We practice what is called “Open Table” communion, so no matter what denomination you belong to, you are welcome to receive communion at KLC.

Communion at Kindred Lutheran Church is served on the first, second, third, and fifth Sundays of every month. While there are many different ways in which we can serve communion, we usually serve communion by continuous tray. Gluten free wafers and grape juice are available for those who prefer or need them. If you attend a worship service at KLC and would prefer to not partake in communion, you are invited to come forward during communion distribution to receive a blessing.
